Valley Health System, which includes The Valley Hospital, Valley Home Care and Valley Health Medical Group, has once again been named one of the 50 Best Places to Work in New Jersey by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s only weekly business publication, and The Best Companies Group. Valley has earned this distinction in 2005 and 2006.
The Best Places to Work award was created by NJBiz in partnership with the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and the New Jersey Society for Human Resource Management.
The Best Places to Work in New Jersey awards program is designed to recognize and honor those companies that show a dedication to their employees. Valley Health System was one of only three hospitals or healthcare systems to achieve this recognition, and the only one in Bergen County.
The list was compiled based on a number of criteria, includes an evaluation of each company’s workplace policies, practices and philosophy; and a survey of employees.
