We at Valley Health System believe that providing preventive screenings and comprehensive medical, dental, pharmacy, and wellness programs are key to maintaining the good health of our employees and protecting them from future illness.
Medical Benefits are available through the Valley Health System's Self-Insured Medical Program. The in-network program provides the employees with the lowest co-pay for an office visit, with several Valley Physicians participating in the first level. The out-of-network option allows employees to utilize services outside of the network with higher co-payments. A comprehensive prescription program offers both a mail order program for maintenance drugs and area participating pharmacies for short term therapy. Coverage is provided for the employees and eligible dependents. The plan covers many preventative services such as wellness visits and immunizations. Employees share in the cost through payroll deduction.
Dental Care Benefits provide preventive, basic, and major coverage, including orthodontia. Employees pay a portion of the benefit expense through payroll deduction.
The Valley Health Pharmacy is located at the Robert and Audrey Luckow Pavilion in Paramus. All employees are eligible to use this pharmacy. Those employees covered through the Valley Health System Medical plan can also obtain a 90-day supply of maintenance medications.
Diabetes Self-Management Program is offered for employees and their dependents with diabetes through a partnership with HNA/Triveris, Valley Health System's health care benefits administrator, and Valley Home Care. Upon completion of the program, participants will be eligible to receive all medications through the Valley Health Pharmacy with no co-payments. All diabetic medications and supplies continue to be free to covered individual regardless of participation in the program.
Valley's Wellness Programs and Services offer ways for employees to improve their health, adopt a healthy lifestyle, and prevent illness.
